# Connect an assistant

# Connect an assistant

Add `https://verelyn.com/api/mcp` as a remote MCP server in a standards-compatible client. The client opens browser authorization. Sign in there, review the requested permission, and approve it yourself. Never copy a bearer token or account secret into a chat.

Each connection has exactly one permission class. External connection creation is currently access dependent, so the authorization screen may be unavailable. If it is unavailable, continue on the web or contact Verelyn; an anonymous `401` only confirms that the endpoint exists.

Client commands change. Use your client's current remote MCP instructions and enter the endpoint above rather than guessing a command from an old guide.
